CNBC reports that Trump pardons three BitMEX co-founders Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo, and Samuel Reed, but the White House has yet to release confirmation of the claims.

Earlier, we saw, perhaps unexpectedly, that Donald Trump kept his promise and pardoned Ulbricht, the creator of Silk Road – now we see the announcement of a pardon for those BitMEX co-founders Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo, and Samuel Reed.

As a reminder, they were facing several charges related to money laundering or violating the Bank Secrecy Act. Hayes and Delo pleaded guilty in February 2022, but Reed entered a plea a few weeks later.

According to CNBC, Donald Trump has pardoned them, but still, we still haven’t seen an official confirmation from the White House yet, which means it could be an exaggerated rumor.
