ICOs & Top coins in focus: IKA, ULA, BTR & ENA, IP, FLR – decentralized data storage, a sub-second MPC-infrastructure on Sui, and a high-performance Bitcoin L2 roll-up enter the IDO arena. The week opens with Ulalo (ULA) on 27 – 29 July on Fount; next, the TGE of Ika (IKA) is set for 29 July; the public sale of Bitlayer (BTR) runs 31 July – 7 August on CoinList. Last week’s leaders, Ethena (+33.19 %), Story Protocol (+19.05 %), and Flare (+19.05 %) point to interest in DeFi yield, the creator economy, and cross-chain infrastructure, followed by CRO, CAKE, SPX, SKY, BCH, BNB, PENGU, and ENS.

ULA by Ulalo
Ulalo is running yet another IDO, showing how blockchain and decentralization can be applied in critical industries. The project develops a decentralized health-data hub using zk-EVM and DID mechanics to enable patients to retain full control over their medical records.

IKA by Ika
Here we have something new: Ika is bringing a high-throughput MPC network on Sui, where cryptographic signatures are formed in parallel across dozens of nodes and assembled into a single zk-commit in less than one second. This architecture delivers deterministic finality for private swaps, protected option puts, and confidential market analytics – all without revealing off-chain data. The network’s core role is to serve as a “cryptographic accelerator” for existing DeFi and TradFi systems that need independent risk reports and defensible privacy at the same time.
To verify computations, Ika employs a dual mechanism of Proof-of-Analytics plus Validity Roll-up: MPC aggregators immediately publish a digest to Sui storage, and a parallel zk-proof records that the input data was not modified.
Utility token IKA performs three key functions in this ecosystem:
- payment for computational slots (per-task fee),
- staking for MPC validators and zk-aggregators,
- governance over the fee rate at each computation tier.

BTR by Bitlayer
The expansion of Bitcoin’s use cases continues to spawn new initiatives. Bitlayer turns Bitcoin into a fully EVM-compatible L2 platform. Technically, the solution is based on a hybrid of zk-Roll-up and Optimistic sequencing, where user transactions condense into Proof-of-Efficiency packets and the resulting state root is published to the OP_RETURN of a Taproot-dedicated output. This preserves Bitcoin’s state immutability, while a verifiable zk-relayer ensures that no sequencer can reorder transactions without penalty in BTR stakes.
Another feature developers may find attractive is the native BTC/L2 bridge. Deposit UTXOs are locked in a controlled Taproot script, and withdrawals pass through a one-step zk-exit without external oracles. This gives dApp builders sub-30s finality and Polygon-level fees without sacrificing Bitcoin security.
BTR is used as the L2 gas token and the governance asset for setting parameters of the sequencer slashing pool.

Top Tokens of the Week
- Synthetic yield and restaking. Steady interest in protocols offering DeFi yield mechanisms underscores the leadership of Ethena.
- Tokenization of IP and the creator economy. Renewed attention to digital-content licensing infrastructure puts Story Protocol among the week’s main beneficiaries.
- Cross-chain messaging infrastructure. Elevated turnover in Flare, along with highly liquid L1 assets such as BNB and BCH, signals demand for tools that facilitate cross-chain data and asset transfer.
- DeFi services and ecosystem utility tokens. The solid movement in Cronos, PancakeSwap, and more niche pools (SPX, SKY) shows that market participants continue reallocating capital toward practical liquidity-management tools and fee payers within ecosystems. Community-driven assets remain present, as confirmed by PENGU.
- ENA +33.19 %, $0.628, volume $1.02 B
- IP +19.05 %, $0.063, volume $112 M
- FLR +19.05 %, $0.024, volume $87 M
- CRO +15.42 %, $0.108, volume $108 M
- CAKE +14.74 %, $2.66, volume $242 M
- SPX +14.68 %, $0.020, volume $33 M
- SKY +12.00 %, $0.480, volume $56 M
- BCH +10.64 %, $451.20, volume $1.06 B
