Manchester United and Tezos
Manchester United is arguably one of the biggest soccer teams in the world and they have reportedly struck a training kit sponsorship from PoS (Proof-of-stake) blockchain platform Tezos.
According to the reports it is going to be a multiyear deal and Tezos will be paying around $27 million per year for placing their logo on United’s training kit. It is also speculated that the partnership will involve other collaborations in the metaverse. Right now, Manchester United is filming sponsor content before making an official announcement.
This is not the first time Tezos is venturing into the sports world to make a name for itself. In 2021 Tezos partnered with RedBull racing as their official blockchain partner. They also struck a deal with McLaren Racing to step into the Formula 1 world.
Manchester United is one of the most popular EPL teams and this partnership will not only help Tezos but the entire blockchain community.
Hoffenheim and Baby Doge
On the other hand, the fast-growing meme token Baby Doge has managed to strike a partnership deal with Bundesliga team Hoffenheim.
Bundesliga is the top German soccer league and it is a big partnership for Baby Doge. According to the announcement, Baby Doge will help Hoffenheim develop club-specific NFTs and Baby Doge will be advertised by the club in home games.
The CEO of the club Denni Strich expressed his excitement for the partnership and said:
“TSG Hoffenheim is happy to be working together with such an innovative and leading brand like Baby Doge. We are excited and looking forward to a successful partnership, where we’ll bring an NFT collection from the club and other exciting projects to life.”
Baby Doge was also quite happy with the partnership and stated that it will help them expand their reach in European Union and global markets.
