Is Zkasino behind WhiteRock? ZachXBT links the teams in a new report, citing overlaps in on-chain activity, email addresses, aliases, funding sources, and suspicious launch patterns.
Potential On-Chain Links, Email Addresses, and Aliases Between WhiteRock and Zkasino
So, ZachXBT conducted another investigation and identified potentially concerning signs that may indicate a connection between WhiteRock and Zkasino.
1/ Community Alert: At least one team member from the $30M Zkasino exit scam appears to be involved with the project @WhiteRock_Fi $WHITE due to onchain transactions linking both projects and a personal email address. pic.twitter.com/rZSvLM98fR

Let’s recall that Zkasino, over a year ago, became a problematic incident for many. They raised over $30 million from participants in a presale, failed to deliver on their stated commitments, and withdrew the funds. It all ended with the arrest of one of the organizers, Elham Nourzai, in April 2024 on charges of fraud and money laundering.
What does WhiteRock have to do with this, you may ask? After all, the asset has been performing quite well, even hitting the top charts in recent weeks. True, but technical dynamics and the project story aren’t the same thing, and ZachXBT’s investigation highlights it very clearly. Namely, ZachXBT points to a suspiciously high number of potential matches with the activity and team behind Zkasino.
Specifically, the same email address, provided by an anonymous source, was actively interacting with the WhiteRock deployer address, which also turned out to be linked to a Chess.com account with the nickname IldarTheGrandMaster. Also, it is linked to Duolingo, Google, and Notion services with the alias Goedel.
Now, ZachXBT links these activities to the user Prometheus, who had previously been publicly associated with Zkasino. Moreover, ZachXBT points to a wallet address that, according to his analysis, was used for marketing payouts within WhiteRock and simultaneously appears in fund withdrawal routes from Zkasino.
Looking a bit deeper, starting from the end of 2024, funds withdrawn from addresses linked to Zkasino began moving through a series of cross-chain transactions using zkSync, Starknet, Solana, and traditional EVM chains. The team divided funds into several routes: cashed out some amount through OTC brokers, some converted into XMR via instant exchanges, and used the remaining amounts for trading or passed through intermediary wallets. These fairly fragmented routes, which were likely intended to obfuscate the tracing of stolen funds, eventually became active within WhiteRock. According to ZachXBT’s investigation, this may indicate an attempt to hide the origin of funds and gradually integrate them into the new project’s operations.
WhiteRock Faced Reputational Problems
As an additional point that raises even more serious concerns, WhiteRock also showed signs of a risky scheme. The project team didn’t confirm any public history and was involved in scandals with fake partnerships, in particular, with Zebec. Their payment infrastructure also lacks transparency and includes multiple side wallets that were topped up through exchangers offering instant conversion.
You know, while this hasn’t been confirmed yet, it already looks suspicious enough to warrant attention. Moreover, while anyone can make a mistake, ZachXBT usually delivers excellent investigations.
Just consider the case of the Bybit incident, where ZachXBT not only highlighted a vulnerability in a partner service but also provided data suggesting the involvement of North Korean hackers.
That was a contribution significant enough for Bybit to thank ZachXBT publicly – and it’s possible that such swift intervention helped ensure the platform’s security, make the investigation transparent, and accelerate Bybit’s recovery.
Conclusion
I definitely wouldn’t ignore ZachXBT’s findings and would closely watch how this affects WhiteRock. How they respond will be extremely important. Also, will they issue a denial, and are they even capable of offering one?
