- BlackRock’s ETHA ETF hit $10B in AUM, doubling from $5B in just 10 days—making it the third-fastest ETF to reach that milestone.
- ETHA pulled in $3.29B in July inflows, now managing 2.34% of Ethereum’s total supply.
- Fund managers are seeking SEC approval to add staking rewards, potentially turning ETH ETFs into yield-generating assets.
BlackRock’s Ethereum exchange-traded fund $ETHA has just achieved a historic milestone. Amidst a streak of capital inflows entering the fund, the ETF has reached the mark of $10 billion in assets under management (AUM), in around a year after going live.
As highlighted by ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, ETHA is now the third-fastest to reach that landmark, surpassed only by Bitcoin-focused ETFs $IBIT and $FBTC.
What’s even more astounding is the pace at which this growth occurred.$ETHA doubled its AUM from $5 billion to $10 billion in a mere 10 days, a surge likened to the “ETF asset equivalent of a God candle,” as Balchunas mentioned, referencing the kind of vertical price movement seen in crypto markets during extreme rallies.
Only a few days ago, we reported how Ethereum-based ETFs were on a high trend, outperforming even their Bitcoin-based counterparts. ETHA alone has pulled in $3.29 billion in net inflows in July, adding up to a record-breaking $8.91 billion in cumulative inflows.

BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF now manages 2.34% of the total Ether supply, a stark contrast from the 0.16% of Ethereum supply managed only a year ago.
Investors’ appetite for Ether exposure appears to be at an all-time high. Ethereum treasuries are becoming the next big thing at an institutional level, while ETFs continue to capture broader market attention.
Recent reports indicate that BlackRock and other fund managers are seeking the SEC to allow staking rewards to ETF shareholders. If possible, Ethereum and Solana exchange-traded funds could become even more attractive to investors looking for yields.
