Binance Lists Boundless (ZKC) as Mainnet Goes Live
Binance has officially listed Boundless (ZKC), a new token designed to power verifiable computing across blockchains. Trading opened today, September 15, with pairs including ZKC/USDT, ZKC/USDC, ZKC/BNB, ZKC/FDUSD, and ZKC/TRY. Deposits were enabled on September 12, while withdrawals will be available once markets stabilize.
As part of the launch, Binance also rolled out its 39th HODLer Airdrop, rewarding eligible BNB holders with ZKC tokens. The snapshot for the airdrop was taken earlier this month between September 2–5, covering balances across Binance Simple Earn and other staking products.
Token Supply and Economics
Boundless has set its genesis supply at 1 billion ZKC, with around 200.9 million tokens (20.09% of total supply) entering circulation at launch. The token features an inflationary model starting at 7% in the first year, gradually tapering to roughly 3% by year eight. This design aims to balance incentives for early network participation with long-term sustainability.
Marketing and ecosystem development allocations have also been built into the distribution model, giving the team resources to support adoption and growth.
Mainnet Launch and Industry Backing
The listing coincides with the launch of the Boundless mainnet, which introduces a Proof of Verifiable Work (PoVW) incentive system. Under this model, off-chain “provers” complete computational work, generate zero-knowledge proofs, and stake ZKC before submitting results back to blockchains.
The project has already attracted significant industry support, including backing from the Ethereum Foundation, Base, and Wormhole. More than 30 protocols are reportedly integrating Boundless’ proof system, signaling strong interest in the infrastructure layer it provides.
Why It Matters
For traders, Binance’s listing ensures immediate liquidity and visibility, while the airdrop rewards long-time BNB holders and helps distribute the token more broadly. For developers, the mainnet represents a step toward scalable verifiable computing, a field that is becoming increasingly important for blockchain scalability and cross-chain security.
However, investors should also note the risks. New listings often face high volatility, and the inflation schedule means additional supply will continue to enter the market. The token’s long-term success will likely depend on whether Boundless can maintain adoption momentum and carve out a niche in the competitive zero-knowledge ecosystem.
