There has been recent activity around AI tokens and, in particular AI agent platform tokens. Two whales have started accumulating AI16Z, and one of them also contains ZEREBRO.

Meanwhile, Virtuals Protocol's VIRTUAL remains the leader of this market segment, and Truth Terminal also retains its cult status.

AI16Z recently traded near a market high of $0.93 on Dec. 25, though the segment leader still remains with its record $3.37 at the time of writing.

And yet on December 26, two whales were seen purchasing AI16Z, namely a wallet labeled as Zerebro Whale has purchased AI16Z and has ZEREBRO's AI agent token on its balance.

Also, another wallet labeled as Michi Whale showed a move from POPCAT to AI16Z and MICHI, all of which could potentially speak to the impending trend of AI tokens in general and AI agents tokens in particular.

In particular, in recent days they have shown a rise from a valuation of around $8.7B to over $9.64B, among which the previously mentioned VIRTUAL from Virtuals Protocol is the best performing, but also Phala Network (PHA) is showing its records at $0.43 at the time of writing.

It's worth noting that Phala Network is not in the business of running AI agents but building infrastructure for AI computing and is more fundamental to the distributed computing industry, which is also used by AI16Z's Eliza themselves.
